I love being a member at our zoo. My favorite benefit of membership is admission an hour before the gates actually open. Yesterday was the perfect day to go to the zoo. After a 5 day stretch of 90+ temperatures, it cooled down to a lovely 75 degrees. So I packed the kids up first thing and we headed to the zoo at 9 am. It was so great to be one of the only people w
alking around! We were able to see the animals and talk to the zoo workers and leisurely enjoy our fun little park. And by 10:15 when it really started getting packed, we were ready to head over to the library.
The tiger is my favorite, and he is always doing something cool. He came running right up to the front of the cage when a golf cart drove by and was making all kinds of noises when we were on our way out.
Naomi just pointed to everything! :) She had so much fun.
