We have been enjoying the beautiful weather this week and took advantage of it by working on bike riding with the kids. Our sweet neighbor, Janet, had a little bike with training wheels that her grandkids have outgrown, so a few weeks ago she brought it over to give to Riley. He is sooo proud to be riding a "big" bike. We are working on the pedaling motion - he does well down the driveway slope with the momentum, but is still learning how to push the pedals hard enough to move himself. Naomi, in the meantime, is using Riley's old bike and she has the pedaling down as long as someone is pushing her :). Riley is very ambitious and already has told me he wants to ride his bike over to the playground... maybe we're not ready for that just yet! It's fun to see them enjoying themselves outside with it even if they are still learning.
