Riley does really well with fine motor skill activities and since he knows the letters in his name and can hold a pen correctly now, I decided to try to start teaching him how to write his name. I wrote it out for him, showing him each stroke and let him work on it while I put Naomi up for a nap. I wasn't sure what to expect when I came back, maybe a scribble representing each letter. But you could distinctly see he had tried to copy each stroke! He is such a fast learner! We are definitely going to continue working on this, but I am so proud of his first attempt!
