Glorious

Easter weekend was simply glorious. It was mid-80's, sunny, bright blue skies - absolutely gorgeous weather and so much fun with the kids and family. It was so bright out it was hard to get photos without everyone squinting, haha. These photos were not edited at all by the way -- it truly was that breath-taking!

Saturday we had the obligatory Easter egg hunt. We just hid a few candy filled eggs around the yard and let the kids search for them. Simple pleasures :).

Sunday, we had a wonderful morning celebrating the Resurrection at church and then headed over to the lake for a walk. Gorgeous!!! Such a lovely way to spend the morning.

After the walk we let the kids open their Easter basket. Elijah got to watch all the excitement...next year he'll get to join in :).

Then we spent the afternoon at Mimi and Poppy's until Brad headed off to work (back on night shifts for two weeks now). Mimi came back home with me and the kids and we watched The Princess and the Frog. Such a fun day! Here are a few more photos from our fun-filled day!
