My kids are pretty super. They have been so good to me through this whole crazy transitional time with Christmas, a new baby, ever-changing sleeping arrangements, out of town family visits, daddy working the night shift and hardly being around, and mommy recovering from the surgery. They have been such great helpers for me with the baby and with things around the house like keeping their toys picked up. It has been a whole new experience having a new baby with two amazing "big kids" around to lend a hand!
Of course, sometimes Riley likes to think he's pretty super too :).
Naomi has just embraced her new role as a big sister. She does get a lot of practice with all the dollies she takes care of though :).
When did my baby girl get SO grown up?!
She is so proud to hold her baby and help care for him. It was really cute on the way up to bed tonight she called down the stairs to me, "Don't forget to grab the baby, mommy!" :)
Even after only a week and a half, she has been a super big sister to Elijah. He was fussing this evening, and she sat next to him and patted his head and cuddled him to help him calm down. It was very sweet.
And this little muffin...well I just can't get enough of him. I think he's pretty super too :).
