Friday was a big day! Elijah turned 5 months old...and he also spent his first whole night away from mommy and his first tooth popped through too!
He is doing new things every day and it has been so fun seeing his little personality blossom.
He is such a happy baby. He'll smile at anyone who stops to talk to him.
He loves to laugh at his brother and sister. It is so cute to hear him giggling from the backseat when we are riding in the car.
He loves getting kisses and gives the big, wet open mouthed kisses himself now.
He is rolling over and over and over...he can roll himself across a room.
He loves playing with his toys, and has just started grabbing his feet and playing with them a little bit now too.
We are still loving the cloth diapers - in fact, we used disposables for part of the trip we took last week and had more leaks and problems than we have in the past several months using the cloth.
Since getting back from our trip he's been sleeping in his big crib in Riley's room like a big boy! He's done great with the transition and the few times he has been crying in the middle of the night Riley has slept right through.
Naomi loves rubbing his hair. It's very comforting to her. If he wears a hat she asks to see his hair so she can rub it, and when we were in Jamaica she kept saying that she missed rubbing his hair :).
He covers his eyes with the backs of his hands when he is sleepy.
The kids call him Goo Goos :), and he also gets called Lijah Bear, Muffin, Boo Boo, Bright Eyes and Bubbie.

Beautiful family!! Look at that smile, wow! That's funny about the rubbing of the hair- my little sister used to twirl her hair for comfort and then she would twirl the hair of whoever was sitting next to her. Kids do the funniest things!
