9 Months

I'm a little behind, but last week our little man turned 9 months old!

* He is starting to enjoy eating and does not want to be left out from sitting at the table at meal time. If we all sit at the table he crawls over to his chair and pulls up trying to climb in the seat!
* We found out he really likes pasta! We totally skipped baby food with him - he just never wanted it. He likes to have what we're having. He's mainly eating fresh veggies, bananas, grapes, plums, nectarines, apples, cheerios, bagels, and pancakes!

* He LOVES to climb the stairs (he's so fast now!) and walk while holding your fingers.

* He can stand unassisted for a couple seconds before sitting himself down and will pull up and try to reach and see as tall as he can :) Here he is trying to watch out the window for Riley's bus :)

* He loves to play! Here he is playing at the library...

* He's saying mama, dada, baba, and grunting sounds :)
* He's still waking up once at night to eat, but sometimes he is up and pretty miserable with these latest teeth that came in, so here we are at 2 am wide awake downstairs with mommy so the rest of the family can get some sleep!

* He has at least 6 teeth now...maybe more
* He's an expert crawler now after 3 months of it and can go pretty fast! One of our favorite games to play is crawling hide and seek where mommy crawls and hides and Elijah comes and seeks :). Boo!

* loves to hold markers (with the caps on of course) and "splash around" in a pile of legos
* loves to bob up and down (dance) to music
* splashes like a maniac in the tubby - loves it!
* loves going for walks - you can see his little feet kicking up and down the whole time
* has a bit of a temper...uh oh! :)

* He is starting to enjoy looking at books and Naomi loves to "read" to him.

* And for his newest trick, he just learned how to clap! He started by grabbing his hands together and shaking them up and down with a big smile trying to imitate, hehehe, but he GOT it and now he claps all the time! He is quite proud of himself. :)
