Outdoors!

The last two days have been much warmer (hooray!) so we have been able to spend a bit of time outdoors! We all enjoyed an evening walk together last night and spent all morning outside (well at least until it began showering) and even have the windows open today which has been fabulous. It was Naomi's first time outside on her own being mobile and she wasn't quite sure what to do - haha. And Brad pulled out one of the kayaks for Ry to play in which he loves. Both the kids got muddy, but it was worth it! We walked the yard and made a mental list of some spring clean-up that needs to happen, decided where to make our vegetable garden this year, and mapped out places for 3 new trees we bought to plant this week. We got a flowering dogwood, a redbud, and a red maple (check out Aldi's if you are looking for foliage - super affordable!) Brad starts night shift tomorrow for a few weeks, so hopefully we can find some time to get started. Lots of people have been asking about my business...no official customers yet...I'm hoping things will start picking up with graduation not far off, but not getting my hopes up either...we'll see what happens and I'll keep you updated :).
