Today we bought the kid's ornaments for this year. We picked an old fashioned fire truck for Riley. He spent a lot of time this year pretending to be a fireman, playing with his toy firetrucks, and had his first visit to the fire station where he sat on a fire truck very similar to the ornament. Naomi got a cute little fairy that somewhat resembles tinker bell and looks a lot like Naomi with her little "piggies" in her hair.
I love this tradition and am looking forward to the day, many many years from now when our tree is completely full of special ornaments representing each year in our kids' lives full of lots of stories and memories! Here they are holding their ornaments. Even though you can't see them very well, they were cracking up with giggles the whole time I was taking their picture!
