A classic recipe passed to me from my dear friend, Nan, at a cookie exchange last year.
1 cup Crisco
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Cream these 4 together
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
Add to 1st mixture alternately with 3/4 cup sour cream.
If dough is soft, refrigerate. Roll dough and cut out.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
