Spring is in the Air!

Life as a mother of three has certainly been keeping me busy. Between cooking, feedings, laundry, baths, changing diapers, cleaning messes, clothing, and transporting there isn't much time for anything else! However, I do have a couple minutes this morning to catch up on here, so here we go!

Riley is still really enjoying preschool. Last week, they had a Beach Day. Here he is all dressed for it - they all sat on beach towels at circle time and got to play with beach balls in gym. It happened to be our snack day as well, so we sent in Shark crackers. They also made paper plate fishies that were decorated with sand for craft. We have a field trip coming up next week at the Firehouse. And we are in the middle of the registration process for kindergarten in the fall! Hard to believe, but I am excited for him.

While it definitely hasn't been beach weather here, we have had a streak of nice days! It's been in the high 40's and now 50's! It's been a great reminder that spring is just around the corner! I took the kids out for our first walk this past week to enjoy the sunshine for a bit. Of course, they wanted to wear their new raincoat and rainboots :).

Naomi has been enjoying age three already :). She keeps asking if she is still two and gets excited every time I remind her that she gets to be three for quite awhile now, haha. Sunday, we discovered that she had a pocketful of crayons that made it into the laundry, so now she has quite a colorful wardrobe. Looks like we may be able to salvage a few things, but I'm just thankful that most of her brand new clothes from her birthday were not in there! She's always keeping us on our toes! :)

Elijah is doing great. He is such a joy to interact with. He continues to sleep well through the night for us. He even naps quite a bit during the day and we sometimes find him in some funny positions...

Riley and Naomi continue to dote on him. They have been tremendous helpers to me, and like to include him in everything we do. As he gets more interactive I think they are enjoying him even more.

Elijah is 12 weeks now and is a very social baby. He always wants to see what is going on. If you make eye contact with him, he will give you a smile! :) He has found his hands and watches them move which is so funny. He even started sucking his thumb this past month. One of my favorite things each day is just lying next to him having a conversation. He is very expressive and sweet as pie.

Other than the daily adventures, we have an exciting trip coming up that I will share more about very soon, mon, so stay tuned! :)
